A Letter to Mr Kejrival by an AAP Supporter

Dear Mr Kejrival,

Starting with a well-known saying - “To change the system, you need to be a part of the system”!

I am really disappointed with your recent actions. Why contest again Modi? To prove you can challenge the leader of a would-be-largest party? And gain what? All know it’s hard to defeat Modi in Varanasi. Then why this stunt Sir? You did same in Delhi by letting the golden opportunity go in feat of emotions. You should have stayed and shown what all can you do. Now only words remain!!!

Btw didn’t we want an ABC (anything but Congress) government this time? Then why are you making it a different ABC (Aravind benefiting Congress) by focusing all your energy on Modi? Let Modi be! Let’s focus on strengthening the AAP party. Aren’t we running too fast? Why not continue doing good work and build a rapport for next elections? Let people taste a BJP government and let them realise it’s not much different than congress and then hit hard and take over in 2019? Why we making a toddler run than first teaching it to stand firm?

A BJP supporter till now, I joined app few months ago as I was very impressed with your views and was moved by the heart you showed for the nation. I always had thoughts on similar lines. Yes I do believe we need to have a "controlled" democracy than the "do-anything-and-get-away-as-I-have-'contacts'" one !!!

But recently, it’s frustrating to see AAP behaving like any other party. I am amused at your media comment.  When we do not have a proof why comment and add to our own woes? Why not first come to the power, investigate and then bash the culprits?

Again, why ask people to tell if you should contest from Varanasi? Why not ask them to tell their problems. Why do a showbiz in Mumbai by taking public commute than presenting AAP plan to ease the traffic conditions. I mean, does anyone need to tell that traffic & pathetic roads is one of the top concerns of this overcrowded metro? With BMC being richer than many small states, it’s shocking that the roads, water and rehabilitation are still nagging issues here. To touch other cities, Delhi has low and order and women's safety as top issue, Nagpur needs rain water harvesting, and Pune needs a streamlined traffic controlling and more flyovers. The list goes on. AAP must try to know and raise these basic issues. (Yes I had posted similar comments on one of that APP FB pages – there are too many pages btw and someone should publish the ‘real’ ones).

The Nation has started believing in you and it’s sad to see you becoming one of “them”. India needs a visionary….not another politician!

Crux is - Let's talk to the people and understand their problem than telling them how bad Modi or Rahul is!  Let's not try to shorten their heights to make ourselves look taller.  LETS RISE!!!

Regards-

Friendship Day !

Until recently I used to sms/call all my friends on Friendship day and would measure their friendship depending on if they reply… what they reply :-) Soon I realized that many of them replied just for formality…. from many it was the only message I received in the year. “May not be in touch for years but still there for you” term looks little vague to me. Friend is the one who knows everything about you and would still love you!

Happy Friendship Day… it’s a Special day… same as other 364 days... for my dear friends!

It’s great to be a parent!

Love

We wonder sometimes if color of love is still pink or its gone red…guess its still very much pink …sometimes it just takes a flash to open the closed gates of your heart to let your soul mate enter it…one lightening and the world changes into a mere metaphor of love. Happens... right? But still we close our heart gate so hard at times…fearing the unknown...suffocating the heart and the life...why?

Love lives if its pure…selfless…from the bottom…till the top…u rise in true love even when u have fallen !

First encounter with Singapore !

Singapore!!!! Just 5 hours from my very own Mumbai. It is one of the world's busiest ports, a business hub and a super developed economy. The government here runs like a corporate company and have tons of $$$ reserves. Sounds lot different but it works and works very well!

Ok! First thing you notice about this place is cleanliness. It’s one of the cleanest cities in the world. You won’t even find fallen leaves of trees on road...too much nah!!! I am still trying to get used to this ultra cleanliness ;-)

But you know its lot like our very own Mumbai. Same whether, same zeal, same enthu, same speed, same good people and junk food but lot not-so-same things those gives it “Developed” tag. ummmm here is my simple formula -

Clean Mumbai 10 times a day (Wake up BMC)
+
Charge hefty fines for littering, crossing roads without walking signal and other “trivial” things we feel chalta hai....at least Rs. 1000 fine!!! (Here BMC will surely wake up :)
+
Reduce the corruption by 10 times (Not just BMC, we all need to take care of this)
+
Ask all to wear shorts :) (I feel all here are born in shorts, except office time, people are in shorts. Age, gender, place no bar.)

It’s not that Mumbai is lesser in any aspect. Only think lacks there is discipline and law enforcement and of course the corruption. I love Mumbai a lot lot and that’s why wanna see it to be like Singapore coz we have it all to make it happen and we have it ample.

It’s kinda Indians running the country. Almost all bankers are Indians, majority IT people are Indians and same goes with the worker class. Tamil is one of the official languages here. Apart from Indians, all you see are “chinkis” - Singaporeans, Chinese, Malaysian, Philippines, and Thai. Till now I haven’t understood how to differentiate so using the word "chinkis". People here are very helpful same like appun ki Mumbai junta. They will ensure you are properly guided and you are not lost in the city. Anyways it's rare as every bus stop and MRTs(train stations)have got route maps posted.

What I liked here the most is No-Honking (have heard it just ones in last 10 days) and no lane changing....traffic is smooth even in rush hours and no noise...pedestrians are given the highest priority. Most important the "pehle aap" culture in traffic….amazing. All wanna give side/way to others…believe me its true!!! Last but not the least, all public transports are air-conditioned. Thanda Thanda Cool Cool.

Ok ab basss for now…Well will be shifting with a Chinese family next week and key down the new experience along with the lovely experience with Merwana Family :)

Hushhh…I am tired….noodles please :-)

Slumdog Millionaire !!!

It was Slumdog Millionaire all over the Oscars today! I happened to watch the film only yesterday night when Tata Sky suddenly decided to make my Life Zingalala :)

I was moved by the movie. I feel it’s a wonderful creation depicting the core part of Mumbai which we; so called white-collar people; are unaware of or rather ashamed of. I read articles from many big shots criticizing the Movie saying it showed the dark part of the City. But can we deny it? It’s not a fiction. It’s the sulking truth. We dream Mumbai to become Shanghai and all we all boil down upon is the Zopadpatti. Well I too am not happy when I see the slums from airplane while descending to Mumbai but what is that we are doing? We feel “Indian” in criticizing Boyle saying he showed Mumbai in bad light but the ground fact remains!

So let’s loud 8 cheers to the movie as it gave the recognition to Indian geniuses like A.R. Rehman, Gulzar and many more. If we can celebrate Sunita Williams’ space euphoria when she never was here and didn’t contribute anything to India, why can’t we praise Boyle for making a touching movie based on our reality. Why do we want the world to see the IT-Giant Progressing India and not the other side of the coin? Lets show the world where we are to make them realize where we have reached in near future and we can all do it!

I really loved the movie and it’s worth what it got today. Let’s not see it as a movie made by an Englishman showing poverty in India. Let’s see it as a hard reality which the world expects us to do something about. Many options … many solutions…whose matching the pairs….No One… not even me, not even you!

I would recommend all to watch the movie. It moves your heart and makes you think. The message is clear silver lining. We get hassled by such petty issues in life and start blaming others. In the movie, Jamal does not blame anyone and just goes on with his life-struggle. It’s not his fault that he was born in slum but he still fights. We are born with a descent life already earned by our patents. Let’s help those who were not so lucky. Let’s do our bit before we start blaming politicians. Let’s show them some light!

Jaago India Jaago!!!

Postmortem

All I see is everyone is after the leaders after the terror attacks. Well I so understand they are no good and selfish but its time to peep within us.....

Why do we start scolding the leaders?

Are we doing any good?

Are we helping the country in any ways?

Are we starting any movelemt for any cause?

Ain't we too busy with our life and wake up only when such incidents happen?

Ain't we finding ways for corruption?

Ain't we producing fake medical bill?

Ain't we breaking traffic rules?

All these seem trivial but we can make a difference by being what we want others to be first !

Wat say Mumbai?
